ABOUT MENTAL FITNESS (PQ)
Mental fitness is the ability to deal with life challenges with positivity and resilience, instead of stress and negative emotions.
If you are physically fit you can effortless sprint up a challenging hill and recover fast. Likewise, if you are mentally fit you can bounce back from a negative experience and transform any challenge into a gift or an opportunity.
Mental fitness measures the strength of your positive mental muscles (neural pathways) versus the negative ones in our brain.
This measure is called Positive Intelligence Quotient (PQ).
Positive intelligence is based on extensive scientific work led by Shirzad Chamine, former CTI president, Stanford lecturer and preminent CEO coach.
The work synthesizes the latest breakthrough in neuroscience, cognitive and positive psycology and performance science.

In our brain there is a constant “war” between our negative and self-sabotaging mind patterns (the saboteurs) and the wiser part of us (the sage). Positive Intelligence research, through factor analysis, has created a simple and clear framework that shows that we all have 10 saboteurs (Judge, Controller, Victim, Avoider, Hyperachiever…) and 5 sage powers.
